Support Our Friends

Thank you for checking out some of the charities that we’ve talked about on the show!

ICAN – Issues Concerning Adolescents of Nevada – To educate and empower young adults to be self-reliant, inspirational peer and community role models through leadership training.

Speedway Children’s Charities – The mission of Speedway Children’s Charities remains true to the ideals it was founded upon in 1982: To care for children in educational, financial, social and medical need in order to help them lead productive lives.

SCC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and provides funding for hundreds of non-profit organizations throughout the nation that meet the direct needs of children. Our vision is that every child has the same opportunities no matter what obstacle they are facing.

Victory Junction – Children shine at Victory Junction. Free from the confines of their disease, illness or disability, they discover that they can be a kid! How does this happen? Victory Junction has created a medically safe, yet exhilarating camp, that challenges children who have a serious medical condition to try things they never imagined possible. As they conquer activities like zip lining and archery, achieve things like riding a horse for the first time or experience bowling, fishing or swimming, children build confidence that will shape how they view the rest of their lives. That’s when they shine!

Girls Youth Basketball Las Vegas – Girls Youth Basketball (GYB) is a non profit organization (501c3) solely made to focus on the growth of girls youth basketball. Girls simply do not receive the same positive reinforcement in sports as boys do. At GYB we aim to develop basketball skills, sportsmanship and self esteem through our coaches, gym officials and organizers. Our coaches will teach players of all positions and levels to play smart basketball, be coaches on the court, and to become leaders on and off the court.
